National Guidance for Child Protection in Scotland 2021 Part 1: The context for child protection 37 Version 1.0 September 2021 Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017 1.180 The Child Poverty (Scotland) Act 2017 sets in statute the ambition to eradicate child poverty. Local authorities and health boards must work together to prepare joint annual Local Child Poverty Action Reports, outlining action both taken and planned, in order to tackle local child poverty. General Data Protection Regulation 1.181 This has been incorporated into UK data protection law as the UK GDPR, which is in force alongside the Data Protection Act 2018.
